MRC Transmark donates

MRC Transmark has supported the Variety Club Golf Society’s Sunshine Coach Fundraiser in which funds were raised to provide Sunshine Coaches to schools that care for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children. The coaches are used to transport students on educational and recreational outings. MRC Transmark has participated in the star studded event since 2004, and has made an annual donation of GBP 5000 to the Sunshine Coach Charity.

This May, the company was proud to donate its third Sunshine Coach to the children of the Variety Club Children’s Charity. MRC Transmark Netherlands donated a valve to Mercy Ships Holland. Mercy Ships is a global charity that has operated hospital ships in developing nations since 1978. Mercy Ships brings hope and healing to the forgotten poor by mobilizing people and resources worldwide, and serving all people without regard for race, gender, or religion.

The donation concerned a “spring loaded overboard valve” for the cooling water system of the “Africa Mercy,” one of the hospital ships. MRC Transmark Belgium, has distinguished itself as one of the Trends Gazellen 2010. In medium-sized businesses MRC Transmark ended this year in third place of the 75 nominated companies. MRC Transmark earned 11th place last year. Trends Gazellen are fast growing, competitive companies that boost, and positively influence the business environment.
