Flowrox pinch valve for ash silo system

After years of dealing with various problems associated with traditional knife gate valves, a Flowrox PV 10A15-603L-SBRT was installed on this gravity fed system. After 7 years of operation, the valve cycles 12/day/24/7, maintenance is just now ordering a replacement sleeve.

The reliability of this Flowrox valve, with its sealed mechanism, its ability to close 100% tight, and maintenance-free operation were cited as reasons why other applications are being considered such as lime kiln and chemical recovery.
