Viega ProPress®has announced that three-piece, stainless steel ball valves are now available for use with the company’s stainless steel systems. The three-piece stainless steel ball valves are available in sizes 1/2in to 2in and have a machined ISO 5211 mounting pad for actuators or operators. The ball within the valve is a full port ball and the handle locks in two positions.

The press ends of the valve include the FKM sealing element for higher temperature tolerance as well as the patented Smart Connect® feature. The high-quality stainless steel balls and stems make these valves suitable for a wide variety of industrial projects.
Repair kits for the valves are available separately from Viega. Available in two high-quality stainless steel grades, 304 and 316, and with more than 600 fitting configurations, Viega ProPress stainless steel is ideal for industrial and commercial installations in applications such as food and beverage processing, chemical processing, pharmaceutical and biotech processing, oil and gas, mining and manufacturing.

The Viega ProPress system can be installed wet or dry, making it suitable for maintenance or emergency repair jobs, reducing costly downtime by decreasing plant shutdowns. It can also be adapted to any existing piping system with adapters and flanges.
