Val-Matic’s® Silent Check Valve’s offer short linear stroke and specially designed spring return action combine to close the valve disc prior to flow reversal, thereby reducing the potential for water hammer and damaging shock normally associated with valve shut-off.

The Silent check valve features an expanded body for full flow area, a double guided disc to prevent vibrations and wear, and precision metal-to-metal seating. The Silent Check Valve is available in Globe Style, (sizes 2 a/2in – 42in) Wafer Style, (sizes 2in – 10in) and Threaded Style (sizes 1/2in – 2in).

The valve is FM approved for fire protection in Globe Style (sizes 2 1/2in – 12in) and Wafer Style (sizes 2in – 10in). Val-Matic® Silent Check Valves meet NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water use and are WQA Certified Lead-Free. All Silent Check Valves are manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system.
