Exlar actuators for hazardous areas

Tritex II DC actuators integrate a servo drive, digital position controller, brushless motor and linear or rotary actuator in one compact, sealed package. Linear actuators employ Exlar's patented inverted roller screw mechanism, seamlessly converting rotary motion into highly-robust linear motion for sliding stem control valve applications. Rotary actuators are ideal for operating quarter-turn ball and butterfly control valves or shaft driven dampers and can be mounted directly on the rotary valve, eliminating any linear to rotary conversion hardware.
Tritex II DC actuators overcome performance limitations common in traditional electric actuator technologies for process control applications. Tritex II DC actuators offer 100% continuous duty with life counts in the hundreds of millions of cycles, response times in milliseconds and accuracy of 0.10% of span. Capable of reaching speeds up to 25 in/sec and forces to 1000lbs, Tritex II DC actuators virtually eliminate deadband and prevent stiction in the valve stem from causing operation malfunctions--even in continuous duty applications.
