Flowrox Pinch Valves save costs in coal power plant

In Denmark, a coal power plant wanted to improve the performance of the existing valve process conditions in their FGD lime slurry control feeding system. The customer had a special control valve with a ceramic trim system, and service time for this valve was 6 to 9 months. In 2004, the customer selected a Flowrox pinch valve for this critical lime slurry control application. In 2005 another Flowrox valve was installed. After taking these valves into use, the customer has got benefits more than expected. For example, service was expanded to more than 24 months without any disturbance of lime slurry control.
