54 Megawatts: Germany's largest PEM electrolyzer goes into operation

After two years of construction, BASF has commissioned the 54-MW electrolyzer at its Ludwigshafen site. The PEM electrolyzer can produce up to one ton of hydrogen per hour. Developed in cooperation with Siemens Energy, the facility produces up to one ton of hydrogen hourly and is directly connected to the site's hydrogen network.
Fraunhofer IAPT launches study on additive manufacturing of silicone seals

The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Additive Production Technologies IAPT is launching a study to investigate new methods to produce silicone seals using additive manufacturing (AM). In particular, the feasibility study will explore the possible applications of traditional sealing materials.
