The energy supplier EWE has begun construction of a 320-megawatt electrolysis plant in Emden. The plant is part of the Clean Hydrogen Coastline project and is expected to supply green hydrogen to industrial customers from the end of 2027.
Valve supplier successfully completes first TFS supplier audit

In November 2025, the AVA Group from Ratingen completed its first supplier audit in accordance with the Together for Sustainability (TFS) initiative standard. The company achieved a score of 96 percent. The audit was conducted jointly with a key customer from the mineral oil, gas, and chemical industry and assessed environmental, social, and ethical standards along the supply chain.
ALTEH2A launches feasibility study for hydrogen imports from Algeria

The partners in the ALTEH2A project have launched a feasibility study for importing hydrogen from Algeria. The network operators VNG, Bayernets, Sonatrach, Sonelgaz, Snam, SeaCorridor, and Verbund are involved. The aim of the study is to analyse suitable production sites, possible routes, and market potential in Europe by mid-2026.
