Effective January 1, 2026, Emerson Electric Co. will consolidate its sales and service activities in the field of isolation valves in Europe. As part of this consolidation, Knut Riegel has been appointed Distribution & Service Channel Sales Manager, Europe. In his new role, he will be responsible for indirect sales and the associated service organization across Europe.
Riegel has more than 20 years of experience in the valve and actuator industry and is a proven expert in industrial valve and flow solutions. In his role, he will focus on the strategic development of the distribution business, the expansion of the partner network, and the strengthening of service-oriented structures in European markets.
With this personnel decision, Emerson emphasizes the importance of an efficient indirect sales channel for the isolation valves portfolio. The aim is to provide even more targeted support to customers in the chemical, energy, oil & gas, and water/wastewater process industries with integrated valve and service concepts.
The consolidated European responsibility is intended to shorten decision-making processes, leverage synergies between sales and service, and strengthen Emerson's competitive position in the isolation valves market in the long term.
