Oliver Jung will step down as Chairman of the Management Board of Festo SE & Co. KG in accordance with the regular expiry of his current mandate. At the suggestion of the Supervisory Board, Thomas Böck will succeed him. Thomas Böck will join the family-owned company as its new CEO on 1 January 2024.
Most recently, Böck was CEO and previously CTO at the family-owned company CLAAS in Harsewinkel, a manufacturer of high-end agricultural machinery. As the former CEO of the CLAAS Group, Böck brings extensive experience in implementing an international growth strategy in a high-tech environment. In particular, he was also responsible for the holistic digital transformation from development to production and sales.

The current Chairman of the Management Board, Oliver Jung, has been at the helm of the family-owned company since November 2018. His successes include the establishment and expansion of activities, particularly in North America, China and India. As a result, Oliver Jung succeeded in significantly improving customer proximity as the basis for Festo's future viability.
