As of June 1, Domenico Traverso is President of the Fluid Conveyance Division at Danfoss Power Solutions. In addition to his new position, he will continue to serve as Head of Incubation, Business Development and Innovation. He is based at the company's offices in Hamburg, Germany.
As president of Fluid Conveyance, Traverso will assume overall responsibility for the division, including all business and functional areas, including sales, engineering, strategy and business development, finance, human resources, procurement, and safety, environment, health and quality. He has been with Danfoss for more than ten years in various positions and has a proven track record of scaling innovation and internationalization and effectively driving growth and profitability.
Optimization and Expansion
Traverso especially aspires to optimize the Fluid Conveyance business in its current markets and drive it forward in upcoming and rapidly expanding market sectors. He will pay particular attention to improving the operational performance in his business areas.

There is a definite demand for fluid transport systems, for example for data centers and electric vehicles. This is where Danfoss wants to apply its products and know-how.
President with many years of operational experience
As a long-time meber of the Power Solution Leadership Team, Traverso is excellently suited to his new role.

Before joining Danfoss in 2010, Traverso has held a variety of leadership roles at GKN Automotive. He has over 20 years of experience, specializing in turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and post-merger integrations.
His qualifications include certificates in executive management, finance, and business from the London Business School; International Institute for Management Development; University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business; MIT Sloan School of Management; and UCLA Anderson School of Management.
