Danfoss Power Solutions has introduced the next generation of its Level 1 AxisPro valve. The valve complements the range of software-configurable proportional valves from Vickers by Danfoss and is designed for demanding industrial hydraulic applications.
The new model features a digital amplifier and supports common network protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and CANopen. The aim is to facilitate integration into networked hydraulic systems and improve controllability.
Simplified configuration
Alongside the product launch, Danfoss is releasing Pro-FX Configure v2 software, which offers a redesigned user interface, real-time calibration, and a streamlined configuration process. This is intended to speed up installation and commissioning.
By linearizing the flow rate and compensating for dither and dead band, the valve enables precise and stable movement. Protection classes up to IP67 and operating temperatures up to 70 °C contribute to reliability in industrial environments.
Variants and areas of application
The single-stage KBSD14 is now available in sizes 03 and 05, with the two-stage KBHD15 to follow in November 2025 in additional sizes. Applications range from presses and machine tools to factory automation and applications in the steel, plastics, and wood industries.
For more complex tasks, AxisPro valves in the Level 2 and Level 3 categories are available, offering additional functions such as integrated motion control or sensor technology for diagnostics and commissioning.
