Seal certified as safe for drinking water in three countries
The C-4240 seal by Austrian manufacturer Klinger has now also been approved for use with drinking water in France. The product recently received the ACS certification.
The Klingersil C-4220 seal has already been approved in Germany and the UK and is KTW-BWGL and WRAS certified. The third country to follow is France, where the ACS certification has been granted for both cold and hot water applications.
Approved now for France
The ACS certification (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire) verifies that products used in contact with drinking water comply with French health standards. This verifies that the product poses no risk to human health or the environment when used in water supply systems. The materials used in the product must not affect the organoleptic, physico-chemical or microbiological properties of the water.
Klinger is pleased with the new product certification as proof of the company's efforts to meet the highest safety and quality standards.
