Since 1964, Sistag AG has been manufacturing numerous industrial valves in Switzerland. In recent years, the company has opened branches in the USA and Singapore and is now expanding into Germany. Since 1997, Sistag GmbH has been established as a sales location in Muggensturm, Baden-Württemberg. Due to continuous growth and increasing demand in the German market, the company is now building a new production site in Ettlingen, Baden-Württemberg.
The new site, located about five kilometers south of Karlsruhe and just a few minutes from the current Muggensturm location, spans approximately 10,000 m². Construction is in full swing, and the new building is set to be operational at the beginning of 2025. The new facility will include modern office spaces for the growing sales team, an assembly department, and a spacious warehouse with a capacity for 1,300 pallets.
With the new location, Sistag aims to demonstrate greater presence and customer proximity. "While many companies are increasingly relocating their production and storage facilities abroad, we are consciously investing in Germany," explains CEO Samuel Sidler. "As a medium-sized company, proximity to our customers is extremely important to us. This is the only way we can respond flexibly to customer needs and provide the service that is a matter of course for us."
Previously, the assembly of products took place at the Swiss headquarters. With the new production site, delivery times for the German market can be significantly shortened. Valves can now be flexibly configured on-site according to customer requirements. The investment in Ettlingen will also create new jobs in the region, thereby strengthening the local economy.
