Messe Düsseldorf and the VDMA Armaturen Association have decided to join forces at the world's leading trade fair for the valve industry, VALVE WORLD EXPO. For this reason, VDMA Armaturen will take on the role of conceptual sponsor of the event. The official signing of the cooperation agreement took place in early July in Düsseldorf.
The trade fair in Düsseldorf already plays a significant role as the world's leading platform for valves and related products. According to a VDMA survey, 88 percent of the participating member companies are satisfied or very satisfied with the fair. "With this strategic collaboration, Messe Düsseldorf and VDMA Armaturen are pooling their expertise for the industrial valve sector," says Bernd Jablonowski, Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf. "With VDMA Armaturen as a strong industry association by our side, we aim to elevate VALVE WORLD EXPO to a higher level. Together, we pursue the goal of further developing the trade fair as the central industry meeting point and the place to be for the global valve industry," Jablonowski added.
The enhanced partnership with the association aims to make the trade fair even more attractive for exhibitors and visitors from the entire process industry, their client sectors, and the supply chain. VDMA Armaturen will actively participate in the design of the fair and engage in various projects. Current focus areas include sustainability, circular economy, digitalization, and innovations for the valve industry.
"As representatives of the valve industry to politicians and the public, we will set precisely the topics at VALVE WORLD EXPO that are relevant to our members today and in the future," emphasizes Dr. Laura Dorfer, Managing Director of VDMA Armaturen. On the occasion of the upcoming world-leading trade fair for the valve industry, which will take place from December 3 to 5, 2024, in Düsseldorf, VDMA Armaturen will also be present with a booth in Hall 1 C 68.
