ABO receives ABS certificate for 3 valve series

The Czech Republic-based valve manufacturer, ABO valve, obtained American Bureau of Shipping’s (ABS) certificate for three of its butterfly valve series. ABS promotes maritime safety and provides marine and offshore classification services.

The process of issuing the ABS certificate involves three phases – certificate of design assessment, manufacturing assessment and finally type approval certification. ABO has successfully passed all these assessments. With the ABS certification, ABO expands the collection of other product certificates such as TUV, TA Luft, API 609-0068, ISO 9001, DVGW, AD 2000 Lloyd’s Register and other. The certified valve series include Butterfly valves Series 2E-5, Butterfly valves Series 3E and Butterfly valves Series 900.
