AMOT has installed 3-way temperature control valves on four new 4250 TEU container ships by the Zhejiang Shipyard in China. The 18in G-Series valve was built specially to match modern higher flow requirements.

The low pressure drop allowed the use of a smaller valve size while manual hand-wheel valve adjustment further simplified set-up and maintenance. The valve is also used for oil temperature control, jacket water cooling, central cooling and seawater cooling.
