AUMA UK organisational developments

As AUMA celebrates five decades of manufacturing and supplying electric actuators, the UK operation announces developments to provide enhanced customer support. Mark Foster is appointed Service Sales Manager and Colin Borrows is promoted to the newly created role of Service Delivery Manager.

A significant installed base for AUMA across mission critical applications has been developed including power stations, petrochem plants, industrial control and the water industry. Mark Foster’s role will encompass visits to long-standing customers to provide support to maintain assets. As Service Delivery Manager, Colin Borrows’ role recognises that ongoing support of loyal customers needs to be backed by appropriate levels of technical and administration resources.

For 28 years, Mark Foster has worked in UK and international electric actuation sales. His career progressed to business development including management and hands-on roles focussing on site-based service solutions. Significant OEM valve maker / automation exposure has included extensive retrofit experience. At AUMA he will focus on development of field service activities.

Colin Borrows has a 16 year track record working for AUMA: his previous role was After Sales and Service Supervisor. Combining sales, electrical installation and actuation skills with a strong service ethos, new responsibilities include managing the company’s service engineers, repair shop and service centre. He also oversees spares, repairs, on-site service and technical assistance.
