Armaturen Vertrieb Alms GmbH has announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to underline its commitment to responsible business conduct and to confirm compliance with the ten UNGC principles. These principles relate to human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption.
The company is committed to integrating these ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact into its corporate strategy, culture and day-to-day business practices.

In addition to the ten principles of the UNGC, AVA Alms GmbH is also committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. These goals cover a broad spectrum, including combating poverty and hunger, improving health and education and promoting gender equality. Other goals include access to clean water and sanitation, climate action and supporting sustainable economic growth.
The SDGs represent a global framework that aims to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and ensure the protection of our planet. They are designed to take account of the needs of the most disadvantaged population groups and countries and to ensure that no one is left behind.
Positive contribution to the global sustainability agenda
From April 2026, Armaturen Vertrieb Alms GmbH will report annually on its progress regarding compliance with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These reports will supplement the company's regular sustainability reporting planned from 2026. Through this increased transparency, Armaturen Vertrieb Alms GmbH intends to inform its stakeholders comprehensively about progress and challenges on the way to a more sustainable future.
