China Hydroelectric has completed its acquisition of the Minrui projects in Yunnan province, China, for USD 59.3 million. The projects totalling 55.5MW of installed capacity will comprise three projects: the Aluhe project with a 12.6MW capacity, the Latudi project with 18.9MW and the Zilenghe project with a 24MW capacity.

The firm will receive a loan of USD 13.2 million for the Latudi project from Bank of China's Fujian Branch to assist in financing the acquisition. China Hydroelectric is also seeking to finalise lending arrangements for the other two projects, Aluhe and Zilenghe.
