Flowserve has recently received a multi-million dollar valve order from China Nuclear Power Engineering Co. and China Nuclear Energy Industry Corp.

The orders are for main steam isolation valves (MSIVs). The Edward MSIVs will be used at the CPR-1000 Fuging Units 3 and 4, and Tianwan Units 5 and 6, all of which are currently under construction. All four units are scheduled to be operational in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

The valves will be manufactured at the Flowserve facility in Raleigh, N.C.
