German valve manufacturer supplies ball valves to Hungary

A German valve manufacturer will continue to provide ball valves, actuators and service activities for a natural gas project in Hungary in the coming years. Schuck Group GmbH and FGSZ Ltd, owner and operator of the Hungarian high-pressure natural gas pipeline network, agreed to extend the framework agreement for another three years.

The valves serve the strategic gas supply of the industrial region in the north-east of Hungary as well as the interconnection Hungary - Serbia. This is a 48″ pipeline that runs along the border with Serbia. The company also supplied ball valves for the Városföld compressor station.

“Thanks to the good and trusting cooperation of the last few years, the contract was once again awarded to Schuck after the change of ownership here was completed in November of this year and now the company is being continued by Max Valier Holding under the name Schuck Group GmbH”, the company announced. The new framework agreement is the basis for all future projects with FGSZ.
