Occasionally valve positioners have to be remote mounted and one of the application challenges is high operating temperature. Most all standard and digital positioners are limited to around 85°C. The remote mounting products are improving, but there can still be issues with the sensor mounting, performance, and even accuracy. Valve Accessories & Controls (VAC) offers a simple V200P EHT (pneumatic positioner-Extra High Temp) that can handle temperatures from -40 to 162.77°C. With this product, normal actuator mounting (rotary or linear) can be utilized and with a reliable remote mounted Ip converter, a more "traditional", proven, and simple product combination can be utilized to solve the high temperature positioner applications.
