LESER to unveil new POSV at ADIPEC tradeshow

LESER will launch its new pilot operated safety valve (POSV) in the Middle East region at the upcoming Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2013 Tradeshow. LESER has expanded the operating range of its ‘High Efficiency’ product group with POSV for pressures up to 256 bar/3,705 psig. The high-pressure POSV is capable of addressing many different operational requirements such as high back-pressure, pressure loss in the inlet piping or tightness up to set pressure. The valve also meets API 526 specifications.
In addition to the higher permissible pressures, LESER also offers a number of product configurations for industry-specific requirements. For low and medium pressures, the LESER POSV uses soft sealing discs, while for higher pressures rugged metal-to-metal sealings are used to ensure tightness. In addition to this standard configuration, options like sealing plates are available if required.
LESER is one of the few suppliers offering a high-pressure pilot-operated safety valve with a full nozzle provided with the same lead-times as the standard semi nozzle version. It also comes with soft seals that are resistant to explosive decompression (ED Design), an important factor in petrochemical and other applications with high pressures.
