Flowserve Corp. has received an order in excess of USD 15 million from State Nuclear Power Engineering Co. Ltd in China for ASME Section III safety-related globe and gate valves and Flowserve Limitorque actuators.

The Flowserve valves and actuators will be used at the Westinghouse design AP1000(TM) Sanmen and Haiyang Unit 2 nuclear power plants located in Zhejiang and Shandong provinces.

The plants, which represent the first Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear power plants to be built in China, are under construction and are scheduled to be operational in June 2014 and January 2015, respectively.

Valves included in the order will be manufactured at Flowserve's Raleigh, North Carolina, facility. Limitorque actuators will be manufactured in Lynchburg, Virginia.
