The new building for the headquarters of a German fittings manufacturer has been under construction for several weeks now. With an estimated investment volume of around 30 million euros on an area of 17,000 square metres, it is the largest construction project in the company's history. The new headquarters will provide space for production, development and global sales.
The new headquarters of Goetze KG Armaturen will not only provide a modern working environment for the current 180 employees, but will also create space for future growth. The new site will provide space for 350 to 400 employees, allowing the company to expand further.
Particular attention will be paid to process-orientated cooperation in order to meet the latest standards. Together with the employees and specialist planners, innovative concepts such as a “staircase of encounter” will be integrated into the design of the building.
Focus on sustainability
In addition to workplace design, Goetze also takes into account the mobility of employees at the new location. Employees and technical experts have worked closely together to develop measures to enable efficient and sustainable mobility. In this way, Goetze is making a contribution to environmental protection and quality of life in the region. The ecological concept of the new building includes a connection to the local district heating system, a fully greened roof and a PV system with a capacity of 800 Kwp.
“As an internationally active company, we are committed to Germany, but above all to the Ludwigsburg site. With the new headquarters, we are sending a strong signal to our employees and the region that we are able to realise sophisticated developments and production locally”, emphasises Detlef Weimann, one of the Managing Directors of Goetze KG Armaturen.
The move to the new headquarters is planned from the beginning of 2025 and will take place in several stages. By merging several locations, Goetze is creating the ideal conditions for successfully managing the company for generations to come.
