What is Predictive Maintenance and what potential does it offer for the industrial valves sector? What new customers, added values and business models are emerging in the future and how can innovation in the network help to tap into them?
These and other exciting questions will be addressed by the Predictive Maintenance Innovation Tour of the VDMA Valves Association on 17 and 18 January 2024 in Dresden. The VDMA Armaturen is planning an innovation tour with its partner Smart Systems Hub, a regional network for innovation and application-oriented research, in order to familiarise its members with the future topic of “predictive maintenance” and to support them in developing their own solutions with inspiration, professional exchange and networking.
In a 1.5-day ecosystem tour, companies will be given first-hand impressions and shown potential through expert impulses, best-practice lectures and technology presentations. In addition, they are put in a position to form their own assessments of various solution approaches. The focus is on practical applications in order to get ideas for new products and business models.
In workshops led by experts, participants will have the opportunity to formulate initial ideas for predictive maintenance solutions, develop concepts and build prototypes. The focus of the event is the topic- and technology-related exchange between industrial valve manufacturers as well as networking with technology partners in order to lay the foundation for the transfer of new technologies into application.
