The Rosemount 8800D Series of vortex flowmeters from Emerson now includes stainless steel transmitter housings, which are often required for applications in corrosive environments.
The stainless steel housing is designed to increase the reliability and longevity of the transmitter in harsh applications. The non-clogging, no-gasket design of the Rosemount flowmeters are suitable for offshore oil and gas and other marine applications, where saltwater and salt in the air require a heavy-duty instrument.
The meter is also applicable for numerous chemical processes and clean-in-place solutions found in food, beverage and life science applications where corrosion and premature failure are of concern.
The stainless steel transmitter housing is available for all Rosemount vortex flowmeters, including wafer and flanged meters, dual-sensor and Emerson's Reducer vortex flowmeters.
