Two companies from the fittings sector have been taken over by the Swedish technology and industry group Indutrade. These include Armaturen Aichhorn GmbH from Austria and SKS BV from the Netherlands.
With the purchase of the trading company Armaturen Aichhorn, Indutrade wants to expand its presence in Austria. The wholesaler of industrial, heavy and special valves will be part of the DACH business unit in the future. The previous owner, David Aichhorn, will remain in management after the takeover. In 2021, Armaturen Aichhorn recorded a turnover of around six million euros. The portfolio of the company from Krenglbach in Upper Austria includes valves and related components with which it supplies water and wastewater companies as well as the energy, chemical and oil industries.
The Dutch trading company SKS was also acquired by Indutrade and joins the BeNeLux division. SKS has an annual turnover of around 35 million euros and employs 50 people. The company specialises in the supply of valves and pumps for the food and pharmaceutical industries. “After the takeover by Indutrade, SKS can further expand its long-standing international market position. This will benefit our employees, our customers and our suppliers”, said CEO Toine Uijttewaal.
Indutrade consists of around 200 independently operating technology companies in 27 countries on four continents. In 2022 alone, the Swedish industrial group bought more than 15 additional companies. Sales in the first three quarters of 2022 amounted to approximately 1.8 billion euros.
