Corus has won an order worth almost GBP 200 million from Total to supply pipes for a new gas field project in Scotland. The contract will be handled by the Corus pipe mill in Hartlepool.

Its employees will work to produce over 300mi of pipes, equivalent to the distance from Edinburgh to London, for the Laggan Tormore offshore development west of the Shetlands.
