Valve & Automation has announced that it has delivered 40in Tri-Con tight shutoff rotary process control valves with V&A Procontrol spring return actuators to Sasol Synfuels.

The triple eccentric valve design also achieves “zero leakage”. These valves will be used for modulating flow control of import and export air into a common header. The header is designed to feed compressor needs during varying plant demands.

The valves are also fitted with trip solenoids for emergency in case the V&A Procontrol actuator fails to close the valve.
