Valve manufacturer expands its corporate network

IDT Holding GmbH, headquartered in Essen, specialises in the development and production of high-quality industrial seals. A few days before Christmas, it was announced that the valve manufacturer had acquired all shares in the Bavarian company wpi Industriebedarf GmbH in order to expand its network of companies.

With this transaction, the IDT Group is successfully pursuing its consistent growth strategy. The transaction was accompanied by Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, which has been advising the seal manufacturer in various legal areas for many years.

“This acquisition enables us to utilise wpi's strengths to address the southern German market even more precisely and to continue to serve existing customers flexibly. Fast product availability and local production service are essential for this”, the valve manufacturer announced on its website.

As a 100% subsidiary of IDT Holding, wpi Industriebedarf GmbH will continue to operate under its well-known name for the time being. The company will be managed by Wolfgang Schmid and Dieter Wendt, with Stefan Schulz responsible for technical support and Adalbert Jell providing sales support.
