Velan has announced that Gino Loggia, International Sales Manager and a Velan team member for over 11 years, has been promoted to Sales Director for South East Asia (SEA), Latin America (LAM), and Middle East and Africa (MEA), plus India and Italy. In this position, he will be taking over the reins from Mike Zivic, VP International Sales, who will be retiring effective, November 4th, 2011.

Also Stefan Wingerath will be taking on the European part of Mike Zivic’s role and will continue to manage Velan GmbH and Velan Ltd as their President. In addition, Joe Calabrese has been promoted to the position of Director, Sales East Asia. Having been with Velan for over 17 years, Joe will gradually take over the responsibilities of Ralph Sargent, VP International Marketing, in anticipation of Ralph’s retirement in May 2012.
