Since September 1st 2014 the Karl Schumacher GmbH has been part of the BOMAFA consortium. The company specialized in spray processes and polymer technology has been leading development for premium and wear-resistant coating for valve components. The first-hand contact with the end user is indispensable: Karl Schumacher receives regular feedback from his mobile service teams about the needs and current requirements of plants and equipment.

Friedrich Appelberg, manager of BOMAFA Armaturen GmbH is pleased to welcome the accession to the consortium. “With Karl Schumacher we acquire a company that will help us with its experience with manufacturing technology and service.” BOMAFA develops and produces steam control valves and turbine bypass systems and has been trusting in the coating technology by Karl Schumacher for years.

Even the old and new manager of Karl Schumacher Thomas Conrad shares the confidence in the upcoming collaboration: “The company will remain with its products and competencies by that we can guarantee continuity to our existing customers.”
Step by step experiences shall be exchanged between the companies to initiate innovations.

In the new year a part of Karl Schumacher will move in with BOMAFA in Bochum-Wattenscheid.
