After introduction of the DN 500 valve ARCA this year re-ceived more orders with new variations of nominal widths and pressure classes. An order with eight valves DN 600 PN 16 was the activator for the realization of the „DN600-light“ ver-sion, which is based on a new 3-flange body with a considera-bly reduced weight for the nominal pressure ratings PN 16, PN 25 and ANSI class 150. The seat is now clamped over the spacer as already practised with the ECOTROL®.

Both for our own orders and for the orders of our Indian part-ner Forbes Marshall for the nominal widths DN 250 / 10“ and DN 300 / 12“ the nominal pressure ratings PN 250 and ANSI class 600 up to 1500 and for DN 400 / 16“ the nominal pres-sure ratings ANSI class 600 und 900 have been realised.

Because the valve new and further development has been carried out with our 3D-CAD sys-tem ProEngineer, also the modern simulation techniques FEM and CFD have been applied.
In cooperation with the university Niederrhein at the moment the temperature gradient of a steam valve is identified by a combination of strength and temperature simulation. A high-light, that will give our customers and us new insights.
