Dutair turbo technology performs where others fail

Extreme heat, high humidity, and thin mountain air place high demands on turbo blowers for wastewater treatment plants. Dutair is the only manufacturer worldwide capable of sustainably handling these conditions thanks to a unique weld-free air foil bearing design. The robust bearing does not deform, can handle heavier loads, and is more resistant to high temperatures. In combination with an integrated air cooling system, the electric motor remains at least 30°C cooler than comparable systems. Dutair's strength lies in the patented air foil bearing. Unlike conventional air foil bearings, the bearing is manufactured from a thick, weld-free foil that cannot bend or deform. This creates an exceptionally robust construction that can withstand heavy mechanical and thermal loads for extended periods. Furthermore, thanks to the compact design, Dutair engineers can integrate highly efficient air cooling directly into the direct-drive turbo. This results in an electric motor temperature that is at least 30 °C lower than that of other manufacturers. The technology proves itself daily in tropical climates such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan, but also in the extreme heat of Saudi Arabia and at high altitudes in Mexico and Chile, where the air is thin. In these locations, other turbo technologies proved insufficiently reliable, and magnetically mounted turbo blowers are not a feasible solution at all.
