VALVE WORLD EXPO - a great success!

Luna Yang has been a visitor at VALVE WORLD EXPO for many years. This year she is representing her employer, the Chinese valve and fittings manufacturer Hao Xing, with a booth. Ms. Yang explains the reasons: "We want to continue to grow and open up for new markets. VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 is very professional and an attention grabbing booth helps us to achieve our goals. We have had contacts with European and African managers so far. Our expectations have been met." The sales expert sees no alternative to a global strategy in order to compensate regional economic fluctuations.

Kojiro Fujiyama, President and Miwa Gen, Director of Strategic Planning, Automize Lab. Co., LTD, Fukuoka, Japan

Automize Lab. is a very young company. It was founded in 2020. Ms. Gen reports: "Due to our young company history, we are here at VALVE WORLD EXPO for the first time. We are very excited to see how the international visitors react to our product. The VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 is the ideal place for that." Explaining the product innovation, Mr. Fujiyama said: "Our Valve-Automizer fits manual valves. It is an add-on automation device. The technology can be retrofitted, giving our current and potential customers a competitive advantage." Ms. Gen adds: "We automate processes, which significantly increases efficiency. In times of rising costs, this is especially important."

 Mohammed Siddiqui, Regional Sales Manager for Dubai, Celeros Flow Technology, Glasgow, UK

Mr. Siddiqui represents the Copes-Vulcan and M&J Valve brands of Celeros Flow Technology. He is based in Dubai as Sales Manager. ”Colleagues from around the world come to Düsseldorf”, Mr. Siddiqui explains. "We are a global company but can meet them at VALVE WORLD, so the show is special: not only from a business perspective, but also from an interpersonal perspective." Copes-Vulcan and M&J Valve are exhibiting control valves, gate valves, actuators and steam treatment equipment for the oil, gas, power and water sectors. Mr. Siddiqui adds: "In spite of the current economic climate, we are confident about the future."

Gulshan Safarli, Foreign Trade Manager, HELS, Istanbul, Türkiye

HELS is a Turkish industrial company and was founded in 2012. The initials are derived from the production areas. They are divided into hoses, expansion joints, level control and steam traps. HELS attended VALVE WORLD EXPO for the first time in the year 2018. Ms. Safarli explains: "2018 was a very successful exhibition year. We're trying to temper expectations a bit for this year, because the business environment is difficult." Despite the uncertainties, signs point to growth. Ms. Safarli tells: "Our forecasts are optimistic, which is why we are planning investments in our production facilities. We are broadly positioned. Our customers include companies in the food, wood, oil, gas, and energy industries, to name a few."

Gontzal Ruiz, Project Manager, Fluidex, Bilbao, Spain

Fluidex is a privately and non-profitly organized Spanish association for fluid handling solutions & process technologies and represents the interests of Spanish companies in the valve industry. For VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022, Fluidex has provided support for the companies in organizing the booth presence at the show and, of course, will be there itself. Mr. Ruiz explains: "We are very happy for our industry partners that they can exhibit in Düsseldorf again. The time without trade fairs was long. For successful networking, we see the personal exchange at VALVE WORLD EXPO without any alternative. So far, digital offers have not been able to convince us. VALVE WORLD EXPO remains an important industry event even after Corona." So far, Mr. Ruiz estimates the industry to be crisis-resistant. He elaborates: "2023 will be a challenging year and there is a lot to do, such as driving digitalization."

Reinhard Wollschlaeger, CEO, Agromatic Regelungstechnik GmbH, Oerlinghausen, Germany

Agromatic Regeltechnik GmbH has been on the market for about 50 years and produces actuators and deals with valves for the flow of gases and liquids. Mr. Wollschlaeger explains: "Our focus is on continuous development, expansion and new customer acquisition. We have consistently invested in growth in the past and are continuing the strategy despite external uncertainties. This year, sales have increased by over 60%." VALVE WORLD EXPO is the appropriate platform for this. The CEO adds: "VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 is a strong brand with great appeal for international audiences. We benefit from this for our international sales."
