At the same time, it is important for us to be spontaneous and to exchange ideas with as many exhibitors as possible. Our goal is to find new suppliers with a focus on oil and gas." Mr. Ellertsen adds: "This is my first time at VALVE WORLD EXPO. I am very excited as I have only heard positive things about the show so far."

The Italian steel manufacturer FDB Forgia Di Bollate S.p.a. is a supplier for valve producers. Federica Rossi is account manager for the Italian market. She explains: "We specialize in large valves with a product size of 24 inches and above. At VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 I look for appropriate business partners. In addition, I visit customers." As a salesperson, she is usually in contact with the purchase department. She explicitly uses the trade show to talk to sales persons. She says: "This gives me market information that purchasing doesn't normally have. The background information from the key account managers is essential for my work, so we can improve our products and service."

On the second day of his visit at the VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 David Wie already draws a successful balance: "I had many appointments and constructive discussions. It's nice to get back into personal exchange. VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 is my first trade fair in three years." Mr. Wei offers support for European companies that want to sell products in China and want market access in general. He elaborates: "Everywhere in the world, relationships are important. It's the same in China, but beyond that, access is more complex due to government regulations, so a consultant company like us can provide valuable and time-saving input."

The engineering-colleagues from Isreal visit VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 for the whole three days. Despite many years of professional experience, both are at the fair for the first time. Elad Freyman explains: "In the past, only our account managers and sales persons visited the fair. In the meantime, that has changed. We as engineers can also get an important overview of innovation and technology at VALVE WORLD EXPO 2022 and exchange ideas with other experts. That is important for our work." Eylon Freundlich adds: "We had heard so many positive things about the show. We are thrilled, the good reputation has been confirmed."

Stefan Köhler, Application Engineer, Eriks Deutschland GmbH, Cologne, Germany

Stefan Köhler is a regular visitor at VALVE WORLD EXPO. He describes his experience: "For my needs, the fair has developed positively. It has become more specific. I work in sales for valves for the chemical, power plant, industrial and food sectors." For the application engineer, the trade show is a good reflection of the market, he adds: "I can see which manufacturer is still there and who has newly joined. Only quality suppliers who have the necessary certificates are relevant for our company." He sees the opportunity to test the products haptically as an advantage of the trade fair. He says: "When I touch the products, I recognize quality."
