MRC Global Inc., has announced that its US subsidiary, MRC Global (US) Inc., has implemented an enhanced online customer catalog, MRCGOTM, for its US business.
MRC Global has offered an electronic catalog to its multi-year MRO customers for over a decade with catalog revenue in 2015 in excess of USD 100M. The new MRCGOTM platform is built with the most current technology that has been enhanced with MRC Global specific, customer-requested functionality.
Some of the improved features of MRCGOTM include enhanced search capabilities, improved product and category classifications, expanded use of product pictures to ease customer selection, Excel spreadsheet uploading facility, dedicated online support, real time inventory, pricing, and order status integration. The catalog has B2C look and feel with B2B functionality.
MRCGOTM will be initially rolled out to existing MRC Global online catalog customers. Future phases will include offering MRCGOTM to MRC Global customers worldwide.
