IKM Subsea Singapore wins 2 ROV contracts
IKM Subsea Singapore has been awarded a double ROV contract by a major EPIC contractor in the region.
The ROV system has been working on-board one of the barges since June 2013 on a project in Indonesia. Upon completion of the project, the system was re-mobilized on a different barge for the same client. The current project is scheduled to go on until end of October. IKM Subsea would be providing the Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV developed in-house with all required personnel and toolings.
IKM Subsea was also awarded a second contract to mobilize another Workclass ROV on board a DP2 vessel supporting the barge. A similar system will be mobilized with personnel and toolings.
“We are glad to have secured these 2 contracts, which prove that IKM Subsea is being recognized as an experienced and established ROV operator in the region”, says Mahesh Govindan, IKM Subsea Singapore’s general manager.
