Mumbai to host CII Valves Conference in December

The Indian valve industry has come a long way from its modest beginning to become an USD 1.6B industry. Today, the Indian valve industry is perceived to be a reliable source of a wide range of quality valves. Indian valve industry has a developed infrastructure to manufacture a range of valves using a wide array of castings in exotic materials, with complex machining requirements. Indian valve designers are now capable of designing virtually any type of engineered valves.

There is continuous consolidation in the valve industry globally and Indian industry too is getting integrated in the global valves industry. Most of the global valve majors are already present in India and Indian valve industry is moving outwards. Against this background, the Confederation of Indian Industry – Valves and Actuators Division is organizing the CII Valve Conference 2013 with the theme “Indian Valves for the Global Market”, a conference and exhibition on 13 December 2013 at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai.

The conference would focus on the Indian Valves Industry overview, EPC and end-user perspective, challenges and opportunities, issues of concern, technological development and road map for growth of the Indian valves industry globally.
