Ringo Valvulas is proceeding in the coming days with the dispatch of the first units of 56”-600 lbs fully welded ball valves to be supplied for IGAT project in Iran. Ringo contract, which includes the supply to NIGC of 115 pieces 56”-600lbs, 40 pieces 48”-600 lbs, 26 pieces 42”-600 lbs and 20 pieces 30”-600 lbs, will be supplied during the coming next two years.

The first 56” valve has been complete with totally satisfactory results, having passed with full success the final pressure and operational tests.

For the manufacturing of this type of large dimensions valves, RINGO VALVULAS has made an important investment effort in order to have the necessary facilities to handle this type of valves (test bench suitable upto 60”-600 lbs valves, crane with capacity upto 63 Tm and fully automatic welding robot equipped with two welding heads, TIG and SAW, of 5 m height and 4,5 m of longitudinal arm).

The 56” valve is for buried service at gas pipeline and it is equipped with pneumo-hydraulic actuator powered directly from the gas pressure of the main line. The total weight of the valve is 45.000 Kg and the total height including the actuator is over 7 m).
