Valve World Expo – 27 to 29 November 2018

We would like to cordially welcome you to our fourth up!date for VALVE WORLD EXPO! There are still almost six weeks to go to your trade fair participation. Today we would like to remind you about the order deadlines for important services, for example Wi-Fi, parking permits and waste disposal. Please remember that a late charge of 35% will be assessed for order received after 31.10.2018.

Please remember that it is not allowed to operate your own cranes or fork lifts at the exhibition centre. Forklifts, containers and other heavy equipment can be ordered from a trade fair exporter and should be reserved as early as possible to secure loading appointments and prevent long wait times. The order deadline is 16 November 2018.

Waste / Disposal

It not only saves time – it also simplifies your pre-sorting: allow the experts to take care of your waste disposal. At the beginning of the trade fair, you will receive wastebasket liner sets in different colours that support effective waste separation. The service partners pick up your recyclables every day after the trade fair closes.

WiFi

Go for high-performance & safe access: book your wireless Internet access direct, only from Messe Düsseldorf. There is only one official WiFi supplier – our partner Deutsche Telekom. The new “Business-HOTSPOT” products offer you all possibilities. Please note: operating your own Access Points / WiFi routers at the Exhibition Centre is not permitted. Installation of this kind by exhibitors or third parties is not authorised by Messe Düsseldorf.

Optimum performance, of course, depends on your terminal. So make sure you get 5Ghz WiFi support when you purchase your device! For more information also watch our brief Video.

Here’s how to be ideally prepared for any risk: with accident and liability insurance for your employees, and exhibition insurance for your stand and exhibits. Hedge your bets in the night hours as well – get technical coverage for your stand, or have it monitored by security guards.

Traffic Regulation including Environmental Zone

This allows you to inform your suppliers in plenty of time. Please familiarize yourself with the traffic regulations on the exhibition grounds. You will find out when you may access the grounds, which trucks are allowed to enter and how the Düsseldorf environmental zone is controlled.

Fraud Alert!

We are currently seeing an increasing number of fake invoices being sent out to exhibitors. These invoices aim to give the impression of being connected with your trade fair participation and use the logos and trademarks of Messe Düsseldorf and/or its partners for this purpose.

Please only pay invoices that you can clearly attribute to an order you have placed with Messe Düsseldorf or our partners (customer number) and compare bank details with the accounts of Messe Düsseldorf (www.messe-duesseldorf.com).
